1. Google Bard a Rip-Off After-all?

   Well, well, well, it looks like Google's AI chatbots aren't exactly killing it, so they're enlisting the help of their DeepMind division to create a new initiative called Gemini. According to The Information, they might be using data scraped from a website called ShareGPT, which contains OpenAI's ChatGPT data. A former Google AI researcher allegedly spoke out against using the data, but Google's spokesperson Chris Pappas denies it. Whether or not Google used the data is unclear, but it's fascinating to see DeepMind and Google Brain teaming up to fix this mess. (Read More)

2. New Day, New Complaint

   A group called the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) has filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), accusing OpenAI of being a bad, bad boy. Apparently, their AI text generation tools are causing chaos and mayhem, producing everything from malicious code to unfair gender preferences. CAIDP wants the FTC to shut down OpenAI's GPT models, demand independent assessments, and create a public reporting tool. (Read More)

3. Bloombergs New Financial Data Processor

   Bloomberg, a company that deals with financial data, has made a new computer program called BloombergGPT that can understand and use financial language. BloombergGPT has been trained on a comprehensive 363 billion token dataset consisting of English financial documents with public datasets.
